An emperor (Justinian II) standing, wearing a chlamys and crown, holding a globus cruciger in his right hand and placing his left hand before his chest. At left and right:  : Ἰ(νδικτιὼν) δ'. Circular inscription beginning at 12 o'clock. No visible border.

Translation

Γεωργίου . . . καὶ γενικοῦ κομμερκηαρίου ἀποθήκης Κωνσταντινουπόλεος.

(Seal of) George . . . and general kommerkiarios of the apotheke of Constantinople.

Commentary

Zacos and Veglery believed that after the name on the obverse they could see a sigma and suggested the reading σ[κρίβωνος]. They identify the emperor as Justinian II.
