Translation

Κύριε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Πέτρῳ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ, κριτῇ ἐπὶ τοῦ Ἱπποδρόμου, τοῦ βήλου καὶ Βουκελλαρίων.

Lord, help your servant Peter, protospatharios, judge of the Hippodrome, of the Velum, and of the Boukellarioi.

Commentary

Zacos, Seals II, no. 1035, published an aniconographic seal with the inscription "Peter protospatharios, imperial notarios, judge of the Hippodrome and of the Boukellarioi." He dated it to the first half of the eleventh century.
