Κύριε βόηθει Λέοντι σπαθαροκανδιδάτῳ, ἀσηκρῆτις καὶ κριτῇ Καλαβρίας.

Lord, help Leon spatharokandidatos, asekretis, and judge of Calabria.

Commentary

The owner of this seal may be identical to a certain Leo, σπαθαροκανδιδᾶτος, κριτὴς Λογγιβαρδίας καὶ Καλαβρίας, who is mentioned in a document from the first half of the eleventh century. See Falkenhasuen, Dominazione, 125 and note 132.
