Commentary
The seal of a katepano of Melitene and Lykandos is published in Sig., 282-283, cf. Byz. 9 (1934) 367-371. At a later time, Peter Gymnos is attested as anthypatos, patrikios and judge of the Thrakesion (BZS.1955.1.3043 and BZS.1955.1.3044).
