Cross potent (X at the crossbar) on three steps, from which a fleuron rises to the crossbar. In the upper quarters: .σ-χ̅σ : [Ἰ(ησοῦ)]ς Χ(ριστό)ς. Border of dots.

Reverse

Inscription of five lines. Indeterminate border.

Translation

Μανουὴλ δοῦλος Χριστοῦ καὶ τρομάρχης τοῦ βασιλικοῦ Λικανδοῦ.

Manuel, servant of Christ and tourmarches of the imperial Lykandos.

Commentary

The owner must have been a recent convert, and so felt obliged to state that he was a servant of Christ. Note his choice of image on the obverse.
