Translation

Ἀδριανος τυπῶ σε τὸν στρατηλάτην ὁ Μακρονικόλαος, ὅν, μάρτυς σκέποις.

I who engrave you, the stratelates, am Adrianos Makronikolaos, whom, martyr, I pray you will protect.

Commentary

The inscription includes two twelve-syllable verses. This seems to be the first instance of this family name which is twice attested in the Palaiologan period.
