Commentary

Αὐρελίου (Aurelios) and Ἀρείου (Areios) are also possible readings of the reverse monogram. Howeve, Valerios is the most likely because Aurelios would require the splitting of the ου ligature and is a strange spelling (it is usually Αὐρηλίου), while Areios would be an uncommon name at this time.
