Commentary

The obverse name is obscure, seemingly Ζάννου (Zannos) or Ζοναίνου (Zonainos), or even Ζαουάνος (Zaouanos), all rare names. The reverse seems to read Παύλου, however there is a redundant ο in the bottom left corner of the monogram, lending some doubt to its identification as Paul; it may be taken as an indication of the complexity of the monogram, or perhaps that it is a patronymic.
