Commentary
Perbaina (τὰ Πέρβαινα) is listed in all notitiae as a suffragan bishopric of Perge. It is usually identified with the ancient city city of Τρέβεννα, to the west of Attaleia, close to the actual village of Karcıbayırı. See Laurent, Corpus V/3, 98; Fedalto, 254; Zgusta, 633.
