Translation

Θεοτόκε βοήθη Ἰωαννικίῳ ἀπo ὑπάτων.

Theotokos, help Ioannikios, apo hypaton.

Commentary

Zacos reads the obverse monogram as Κωνσταντίνῳ, however that is unlikely because there is no σ present. Zacos mentions another specimen of this same Ioannikios with similar crosses at the top of the vertical bars of his name's monogram.
