The Annunciation. Only the archangel is preserved, holding rod or scepter. In front of him, on the ground, a low seat (?) resembling a capital set on a column. Vertical inscription in center: Χ|Ε|ΡΕ|Τ, : [ὁ] Χερετ(ισμός). Border of dots.

Commentary
It is possible that the owner of this seal is the same strategos of Cherson as the owner of BZS.1947.2.245, whose seal is also decorated with the scene of the Annunciation. The two specimens, however, are from different boulloteria.
