Μονῆς τῶν Ἀρμενησῶν.

(Seal of) the monastery ton Armeneson.

Commentary

The identification of this monastery τῶν Ἀρμενησῶν is unclear. Lines 3 and 4 (reverse): mistakenly read by Laurent and transcribed as "τῶν Ἀρμενι(α)κῶν." Seibt (BSl 36 [1975]: 211) suggests that the seal may refer to a μονὴ τῶν Ἀρμενισ(σ)ῶν, a monastery of Armenian nuns.
