Translation

Θεοτόκε βοήθει Ἰωάννου νοταρίου.

Theotokos, lend Thy aid. (Seal of) John notarios.

Commentary

The reading of this seal depends on the ligature on the right of the monogram on the reverse. It could combine ΤΡ or ΠΡ. In our view, it is the former and leads to the reading notarios, but it is not out of the question that patrikios is the correct reading.
