Commentary

The reading of this seal is based on a parallel, BZS.1958.106.1962.

The first two lines of the Arabic inscription can be read only partially and are not easily interpreted. The third line clearly reads Ibn, then likely Bashir; as there are no diacritics on the seal, it could read some other name ending with the two letters ي - ز/ ر and beginning with the س/ش ي/ت/ب/ن/ث or beginning the opposite (ي/ت/ب/ن/ث -  س/ش).
