Obverse
The Mother of God enthroned, holding the medallion of Christ on her lap. On either side, inscription: μ̅θ̅: Μ(ήτηρ) Θ(εοῦ). Along the circumference, a circular inscription beginning with a cross at one o'clock. Border of dots.

Reverse
St. Menas standing, his arms upraised in supplication. Inscription on either side: |m|hn|a|σ : ὁ ἅγιος Μηνᾶς. Within a border of dots, a circular inscription beginning at one o'clock:
υλαττετονσονοιτηνθεοΑ
φύλαττε τὸν σὸν οἰ(κέ)την Θεοφά(νην)

Translation
λιταῖς Μηνᾶ μάρτυρος, τοῦ Θεοῦ Μῆτερ, φύλαττε τὸν σὸν οἰκέτην Θεοφάνην.
Mother of God, through the intercession of the martyr Menas, protect your servant Theophanes.
