Very faint half-length representation of Christ. One can discern the right arm of a nimbus cruciger decorated with a row of two pellets. No epigraphy or border visible.

Reverse

Two figures: at left, a half-length representation of Basil II bearded, wearing a crown with a cross and pendilia; and at right a half-length representation of Constantine VIII wearing a crown with a cross and pendilia. They hold between them a long patriarchal cross. Circular inscription. Border of dots.
